Patience pays off

Last night, we gathered a small hole rolling group. Since we were short, I ponied up an alt and we started rolling. Our WH static yeilded a system with probes on our first entrance. Racing from the opposing static, we jumped in and out and waited for our timers on the WH static, on our side.

We jumped in on the second round, critted the hole and watched the probes climb from four to seven. Grabbing our hictors, GE grabbed his loki and watched our side of the hole.

Jumping in, the probes were gone, Sa jumps in and there is a Helios... which promtly follows him into our hole collapsing the static. Since I was on an alt, I missed the chance of locking up the Helios. We also got the wrong name, and couldnt figure out who was in our home.

Ge said he would wait for a while, and see if he could intercept our visitor. Sa and I log out, and log back in with scout alts. Since the holes were all rolled, we didnt have bookmarks for the new statics. We waited 15-20 minutes before the scout uncloaked, AT THE SAME PLACE HE CLOAKED AT!

Ge powers up, uncloaks and starts burning towards the scout, locks him up and blows him away while he is dropping probes. Ge then locks the pod ( the scout didnt have BMs in the hole I suppose ) and pops that too.

A great ending to an otherwise quiet week.
