Chase

No, no the bank... credit card, or the corporation that US citizen love to hate. I mean, 'being Chased' 'Chasing others' 'Chase.'

We dropped out of our home today, only to find a cyno lit and a carrier sitting possed up... not very friendly. So we dropped on the Cyno, and laughed in local. And just as quickly started rolling our static.

Lo and Behold, a similiar name started speaking in the hole!!! What madness! I dropped probes and located a K162, and the hole rolling got rolling! A239 rolled out just as our visitor popped up, we figured he was trapped from lowsec.... how wrong we were.

The D382 died a fast death and then our scout started shouting obscenely. The voice belonged to the K162, they were in our home. Hole rolling began again, with the K162 critting on our first attempt.... our visitor had already drive through half the tonnage to kill the hole. Quickly following we critted, but didnt close the A239. Hoping to trap our friend outside...

The scout continued to watch, as suddenly a second contact (Proteus) drops onto the K162 and out. The Tengu of our local speaking friend followed, and bid us ado' and left. Four minutes later he was back, and trying to close the exit with a 100NM AB. And so we are alone again.. maybe.

Stretching the limit

All good things must come to an end, and I am seeing the end of our affliation with our current alliance. It has been fun, starting out as hostile industrialists in wormhole space and slowly becoming raiders and pirates. The alliance is slowly converting to all pvp... for good or evil, this has pushed out the small corps, the heavy industrial base and now the people who want to live in their own home!

Adapt or die? I am not so sure this is a good thing, the alliance leadership is moving towards consolidation... but only after hitting a big target. Are they trying to force consolidation? After hitting this still unknown target, the leadership expects extreme hostilities... no one is going to want to move under that kind of onus.

For me and my merry band, we are going to drop one or two members. Harden our hole defense and perhaps not be an allaince hugging corp.
