Azaru and not ME!

While scouting another connecting wormhole, ( I do this a lot with my husband ) I discover a solo Drake killing sleepers. My husband arrives and the two of us watch somberly, waiting, cloaked for the inevitable Noctis...about 150km away from the nearest wreck and moving away.

Suddenly out pops an Azaru and two Tengu! Holy cow, this guy is getting jumped! Damn, there goes our easy salvager kill too! We watched as the Drake died, and the pod warps away. Estimating time, and range it took the gang of three about 4 minutes of pounding to kill the drake at a range of 70km. A fourth ship shows up, and the three attackers line up like ducks and slowly drive around as the new destroyer ( same corp ) salvages the wreck of the Drake and the rest of the sleepers.

We watched, and started looking at kills for the three combat pilots... really good kills. Mostly single pilots dying to thier setup. Everything from a Loki to Golem, these guys have something going on.

Researching the potential setup, shows the Azaru was using sensor dampeners and a long single point to hold the PvE Drake in place, while the Tengus simply sniped the pinned pilot. A little discussion later, and it looks like my husband and I will be training a new ship... the Azaru.

Two quick kills/

I headed into highsec for a quick ammo refill, and found lots of potential targets in local of Bei. So, dropping two angels, and cloaking soon found me two noobs willing to steal from my wrecks. Not sure how 'noob' they really are...but they died quickly. http://talocanunited.com/killboard/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=3778 and http://talocanunited.com/killboard/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=3779

These two kills bring me into the running for 4th spot on killer of the month. Irritated the top spot is being help by someone who wrecked PoS modules. Just waiting for the wardec to end and I can hunt the lanes.

Cruicible

Gee, it is pretty. Very PRETTY! And with all pretty things, there are thorns.

Lots of small patches, little bugs, and dammit bugs that actually affect me and mine. The probing has changed, and if you dont have even HIGHER skills, you cant probe for beans. Never mind the new probing interface is dark, and the focus of the mouse sometimes grabs the wrong thing. The randoming moving points are really irritating, my whole corp has good skills and now must train even higher!

My Husband's friends have absorbed two other 10m sp toons, and should be onlining them in the next week or so. Fun times to be had by all, when we bring them in and really get the farming going. They even came with a couple of plex!

Pirating has been slow, only a few frigate kills each month. I havent seen any more barges or indys in the systems we have attached to. My trader keeps killing cynos, and the current wardec is perfect for staying out of highsec and in lowsec. The russians are after the alliance again... almost think all those high-isk kills with shiny-shiny drops are bringing bad attention.

Changes

Things have changed so much, my allies ( RL Friends ) have all joined up and moved into a new C2 with an allied corp.

The previous C2 was occupied by an Italian Corp, within the Alliance... Or are they? Apparently they were alts from a null sec corp, making iskies for the mains. The fact they were only farming the local anons ( combat sites ) ignoring the HUGE potential in profits from local LADAR and GRAV sites, and pretty much ignored the MAG and RADAR sites... ouch, how my wallet cries for them. After quizzing them down, and relaying the information to my mate, we packed up and moved out post-haste.

It was a bittersweet loss that those Italians were booted from the Alliance, I should have kept a scout in the system to kill them later. However, I am looking for them, anyone seen Muasas? I will pay good isk for that locus.

Our current home was beset by horribad stuffs in the first couple of weeks. First the loss of corp, who disbanded and gave/sold most of thier stuff to the local Pope. The next loss was a director who went bananas and wiped out his own PoS and nearly everything in it. Quick thinking or panicing, take your pick, I managed to get two accounts on and try and stop him. After he self-destructed ( yes... killed himself ) I gathered everything left into our PoS and waited for the CEO to get back. Lucky for us, I gave back everything and set the local Pope up with enough fuel to get him back into operations.

That is the general idea so far, farming the local static has proven to be difficult with a Wardec and constant harrasment from the Russian Blob fest from Null Sec. We as a corporation have increased profits by processing gasses and mineral to offset the loss of farming the static.

Swinging

Well, I was put back on 'backshift' a.k.a. maybe swings, maybe graves...
Corp is firmly entrenched, defenses in place, trap-bubbles set for optimum range of the arty. CEO joined the Alliance, they are an interesting bunch... definately not the carebears I read about.

The next step is already in place, I have a breeding account set up to build scouting alts to be transfered later. Second account now has a hictor, can fly cloakies and mine when needed. ISK from the Wh is rolling in, not as fast as the old C3, but with the addition of a hictor we can roll our static to farm.

Watching the old C3, I get kinda mean spirited. They keep loosing ships, getting hammered and still havent toughened up. It must be that static highsec, or a spai! My vote is for the spy. Someone is selling thier information, and I wouldnt be surprised in the least. I really want to move back in, and take over... just need to learn PoS bashing.

Back in the saddle

Woot! We are back in a WH, class2, with a lowsec static. Looks like I can polish up on my PvP skills after all.

Discussion has raged over the joining of an alliance. Looks good, the CEO of my corp is very much for it. More than anything, I think he is worried about the isk he spent on a new shiney PoS and guns.

Either way, new WH, PoS is setup and gunned, and we are back to making iskies. Corp donations on 25% until the PoS is repaid, eh, it is worth it. So far only a few russian probes, and some idiot with his name plastered on his ship. Do you hear me 'Kingfish Wildephire'?

Busy with Life

Japan Earthquake, etc... al.
Ended up leaving Japan and out of communication for nearly a month. Came back to find the corp falling apart. Left the WH, started retraining for mining in hisec (yuk). I have one house up for rent, the second is getting siding done... while working on the foundation. Now I am on 12s at work... with no end in sight.

On the plus side, I have trained up Caldari Cruiser V, and focused on my combat skills. Might as well get something out of the time no-playing!

My small gang bailed from the failing WH corp and alliance. I keep watching the WH, and they keep dying from stupidity. Looking for a new WH, PoS and 3 months of fuel ready to roll when the overtime slows down.

If you read this, and you have a C3 or a C2 with a C3 static... eve-mail 'Soo San'.

Null Sec?

Well, my friendly German CEO has decided to talk to another German/English Null Sec Alliance... will we be moving from the wormhole? Not really sure.

In other news, some turkeys from hi-sec decided to wardec our alliance... serious, 7 members ( 3 active ) against a bunch of bearish-Germans. The Wardec took place before Friday, and no activity from the Griefs until Sunday night. At which time they logged on, caught a Golem running missions solo and killed him.

My my, the learning experience I am recieving from other people's mistakes. Dont mission while a Wardec is in place... Eve-Uni taught me that much. ( Yes, I am a former student of Eve-Uni. )

Living in a cardboard box

Soo, is now living (has been living) in WH space, with a friendly German Corp. To bad I dont speak a lick of German. The Wormhole is my money making machine, lost a Tengu to sleepers... and replaced it an hour later with a better fit. Pirating has taken a wierd turn.

Am I a Pirate, or a WH-dweller wanna-be? Great question, I am not allowed to post kills while in the WH, for security reasons... but I have killed a mammoth, and its pilot. Chased around nullsec, dont ask me where. We now have the man/woman power to close exits at will, we use bubbles on our static exit to highsec, and patrol combat sites daily.

This wormhole has generated 50-80mil isk per combat site, and I get a full share each time I participate. The bank is in good standing!!! Pirating on the other hard, well, very little really PvP experience.

Any time a non-alliance shows up, the non-combatants safe up, and we go looking for trouble. So far, I fear hictors, killed my tengu, and I cringe at nullsec exits. Someone finally took my bounty, 5mil ( I know, cheap ) ,and took my corpse as a souvenier.

Holiday fun

So, after Christmas and now New Years, I decided to take a spin... or three.

Dropping into Enden, I lost a poorly fit Cyclone, followed a few hours later by my ghetto Rifter. I spent close to 5mil for 35 rifter hulls, and I keep grabbing garbage from wrecks along the way. So, losing another rifter didnt hurt much, just my pride.

I can now fit 2-200mm ACs, 1-150mm AC, with a Neut. I know, ghetto, however it is now time to test this fit. I still only have enough cap for 18 seconds, so I will be looking into that as well.

Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
